Digital aesthetics are derived from the nature of 3d software: objects intersect, can be rotated and scaled with disregard to laws of physics, weight and gravity. Lighting and materials can be applied with no accountability. Sterility and repetition of the environment is a default state.

HUMAN=OBJECTS

In the hierarchy of subject matter of significance, the human is equal to ‘object’ . The human condition is disregarded and expressed as a part of human visual expression not as a main subject of study. Death presumes something that used to be alive. A sculpture of a dead object looks more alive than a sculpture that aims to depict life.

PASSIVE UTOPIA

Emotions are exhausted by the constant draining of attention via social media and uninterrupted entertainment. The apathy and indifference is due to the inability of committing to one subject. The human is in a passive state of ‘observer’, resembling an object.

OBJECTS IN TIME 

What if we could see objects as they appear at all times - past/present/future. In this case only a segment of 0.5 second. 

REALITY IS A SOCIOPATH

Without the human condition, good and evil seize to exist or be expressed. Human beings acting without emotions or motives become unnatural moving objects entering uncanny valley phenomena.
